Tall on tour in Geneva
Insight 2 min read
Last weekend, we all packed our bags and headed to Geneva. After a busy few years full of remote working, new client wins and moving into our brand new office, what better way to recharge and relax then to all go away together for a well-deserved break to reconnect with the team.
After an early start to the day, we finally arrived at our Geneva hotel on Friday afternoon. After a quick freshen up we were keen to explore the sights and see what the city had to offer. And of course a few beers by the lakeside were on the cards!
Saturday was our main full day away, and so we filled it with seeing as much of Geneva as possible. Geneva’s biggest flea market, looking around Carouge and popping into the local bars; we really enjoyed exploring more of Geneva together alongside the sunny weather.
The evening quickly rolled around, and so it was time for us to head out for dinner to a traditional Swiss restaurant called Hotel Les Armures. Here, we were able to dine in one of Geneva’s oldest period rooms, and take ourselves back in time to the 17th century, before toasting to our trip in a few more of the great bars in Geneva. It was a great evening of good music and lots of laughs together as a team.
Our final day was Sunday, and we made the most of the time we had left in Geneva, starting with a lovely boat ride across the lake and spending time looking around more of Geneva and its old town. We were also glad to be able to visit and explore Geneva’s History of Art Museum before heading on over to the airport to catch our flight home.
Geneva really gave us all the opportunity to spend time outside of work together, enjoying each other’s company, sharing good food and laughs and connecting as a team. We all came back from our well-deserved trip away feeling relaxed and refreshed and ready to get back into the office to do what we do best here at Tall, together.
