Leeds is home to a ton of mouth-watering restaurants, but it’s safe to say Tall has a favourite few. Whether you want a unique kind of dining experience, you’ve got a hankering for a juicy burger or you want to crack open a cold one. Tall has got your back!
Here are five of our fave spots:
Fazenda
Essentially Fazenda is a Brazilian steak house in Granary Wharf in Leeds. However, it’s so much more and is definitely a much-loved spot of Tall.
It’s a whole new dining experience and once you turn that double-sided card to green you’re presented with a vast array of meats and fish all cooked to perfection. This is all together with their selection of fresh cut veg vegetables, breads, continental cheeses and so much more.
You’re always going to leave with a full tummy and your belt most defiantly unbuckled!
Byron’s Burgers
Tall knows Byron’s as the meat pattie professionals and they never disappoint! If you love a big, juicy burger cooked to your liking then Byron’s is the place for you. Their lunch menu includes a burger, drink and a side for £10 and it always hits the spot. Tall have certainly ranked it as their favourite burgers in Leeds.
The restaurant itself most definitely has an industrial feel to it and is very spacious. It even includes an open kitchen where you can witness all the magic happen.
The staff are always efficient and welcoming and bets are they’ll probably be seeing us again soon as the Tall team will never get sick of that burger goodness.
Livin’ Italy
Livin’ Italy is a delightful and intriguing authentic Italian restaurant that has managed to win the hearts of the Tall team.
The décor is rustic but sophisticated and the menu is filled with so many delicious treats. You can even make your own pizza! … I mean, who doesn’t like having the option of creating your owning pizza? Not to mention the quality of service has always been excellent.
Livin’ Italy is certainly the most yummy Italian in Leeds – they’ll defiantly be seeing us again soon!
Ambiente
You have to attempt to limit yourself because there’s so much to choose from. Whether you’re a veggie or a certified meat lover, Ambiente has got you covered!
The quality of the food is always smashing (they locally source the majority of their produce from local Yorkshire suppliers) and their josper grill allows them to make some mouth-watering dishes (try the cauliflower dish, TRUST US).

Waterlane Boathouse
When the weather is cracking, Waterlane Boathouse is spot on.
The canal-side bar has an impressive selection of beers, wines and cocktails. It’s the perfect place to bask in the sun but it also has a very authentically pleasing inside with its minimalist décor.
Whether it’s rammed or quiet, the staff are always on top form. Plus, the sourdough pizzas are also pretty immaculate. It’s somewhere you could easily spend hours in.
