When you’re a new brand like Nanna Tate, making a bold entrance into the market is key. The mission is clear: Getting great tasting tates on every plate! Nanna Tate’s parent brand Branston are somewhat rockstars in the world of potatoes, so they certainly know a thing or two about amazing quality and great tasting potatoes – from prepared chips to creamy mashed potatoes and perfect roasties.
To support the brand’s launch and ensure a strong impact on supermarket shelves, we were approached to develop and enhance their digital presence. While the products were ready to impress, Nanna Tate needed a website that could promote the brand’s personality, showcase the product range and highlight their convenience.
As part of the project, we also worked to refine and enhance Nanna Tate’s digital identity, ensuring it reflected the quality and ease the brand represents. With a fresh, cohesive online presence, the brand is now perfectly positioned to engage customers and carve out its place in the market.
Building on Nanna Tate’s bold and distinctive identity, which was already reflected in its vibrant product packaging, our challenge was to evolve this personality into the digital world. We began by expanding the existing brand guidelines, incorporating digital-first thinking to refine elements such as colour, typography, illustration, UI style, and motion theory.
Through this process, we crafted a set of brand principles that established a strong foundation for Nanna Tate’s visual personality in the digital space. These foundations paved the way for the creation of a new website that truly brought the brand to life online. Designed to showcase Nanna Tate’s personality and, of course, their incredible product range, the site delivers a mouth-watering and engaging user experience.
A standout feature of the website is the recipe hub, a space dedicated to inspiring visitors with inventive and delicious dishes made using Nanna Tate’s best products. This hub allows the brand to connect with its audience in new ways, championing creativity in the kitchen while reinforcing its mission to make great-tasting potatoes hassle-free.
