Say hi to Aiden, our new Digital Designer

Hello, I’m Aiden. I am the new Junior Digital Designer here at Tall. I’ll be focusing mainly on web & digital design as my title suggests, but I do also dabble in 2D animation & motion graphics to help bring projects to life!

A month already?

It has gone rather quick! I was able to get stuck in straight away having been tasked with creating a show-reel of work for an existing client (see Sorted case study) which was a lot of fun to put together.

What have you learnt?

Coming from an in-house role into an agency, I knew things were going to be different. I’ve already learnt a lot in terms of the general day-to-day processes and am just about getting to grips with the project management software that we use. I’ve learnt that it’s a lot more fast-paced here and you never know what the next week will bring! I much prefer it this way though, especially from a design point of view as it keeps things fresh.

What didn’t you expect?

To go zip-lining in a forest after not even working here for 2 weeks! Being invited on the team away day to the Lakes was a really nice way of getting to know everyone a bit better, although it did publicly highlight how bad I am at drinking…

What about the team?

All very friendly, welcoming and supportive. Surprisingly accepting of my uninspiring, repetitious ham sandwiches for lunch and my lack of knowledge when it comes to video games (particularly Apex).

Do you have any quirks?

I’ve never seen Game of Thrones. Yes, I know. I’m sorry.
