Supporting SharkNinja in their digital global growth

Website UX & UI.

SharkNinja

SharkNinja produce exceptionally high quality products and it’s no surprise that they review so consistently high with customers across all their product ranges. Their rapid business growth combines constant innovation in their product offerings whilst also bringing these to new markets across the globe. The digital support for this kind of movement is substantial  – especially when a key focus is in maintaining their promise of high quality experiences to their customers. Tall were approached to work with their teams to deliver new SharkNinja product sites as the business looked to expand into the Middle East.

The design & build of the site was part of a larger integration into a more systemised digital design approach to support future campaigns, product launches and potentially new markets. The Tall team worked to integrate foundation levels of digital design system integration, with tokenisation of core design elements to ensure that fundamental UI elements are tethered to the core brand whilst also allowing for the variations required in these new sites for a different audience.

A large part of the design research, thinking & experimentation centred around the requirement for multi-lingual support – with Arabic being a primary focus for this project. This required a further layer of UX and design stress testing as Arabic design thinking requires both consideration for the character changes but also many UX structures to change such as elements requiring an overall ‘right-to-left’ visual approach opposed to a ‘left-to-right’ visual style in which most of the in Europe and the West have become accustomed, were crucial to the success of the project.  Tall was responsible for the full front-end design and build of the system, and worked with a partner for back-end development.

The site launch further expands the SharkNinja global growth, allowing them to offer their excellent product ranges to people in many areas of the Middle East – but it has also allowed a strengthening of their creative digital underpinnings with further design system planning and execution to support the ability to efficiently deliver consistent high quality experiences to their customers in their ongoing growth.
